Custom Cold Formed Fasteners

Spartan Fastener produces miniature fasteners such as screws, bolts and studs (such as clinch studs) to meet the precision fastening needs of industries ranging from automotive and electronics to medical. Our competence extends to manufacturing fasteners with diameters as low as 0.019". We can form fasteners with tolerances close to ±0.001" in diameter and ±0.005" in length.

Besides manufacturing miniature fasteners, Spartan Fastener also supplies a range of proprietary threaded fasteners and anti-cross threaded products such as MAThread®. Our cold forming process ensures faster production as well as increased shear and yield strengths compared with conventional machining operations. Our production run capabilities range from a thousand to a million pieces.

In addition to cold heading, we perform secondary operations such as trimming and thread rolling to custom specifications. Camera optical sorting and roll sorting machines are used for sorting fasteners. Our in-house QC capability is complimented by finite element analysis, which facilitates strict quality control.
